Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iamU mobile apps, website and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use iamU.
• You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.
• You may hold only one personal account.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate information, including your date of birth, which we use to build your birth chart and confirm your age.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable conduct

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate or deceive other members
• Post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual content, hate speech or violent threats
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam or scams
• Scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post. You grant iamU a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.

5. Paid features

• Subscriptions (Premium, Gold, Platinum) renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• In-app purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by that store under its terms.
• Consumables such as boosts and super likes are used when redeemed and are not refundable once used.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Marketplace, events and experts

Experts, sellers and event hosts are independent third parties. iamU facilitates bookings and payments but is not party to the service they provide, except where our Refund & Cancellation Policy says otherwise.

7. Astrology content

Astrological readings, compatibility scores and reports are provided for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. See our Astrology Disclaimer.

8. Safety

iamU does not run criminal background checks on members. You are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Please read our Dating Safety Tips.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, iamU is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any member, expert, seller or host. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
